China Postal Airlines has started itssecond international service – a newfive-times weekly service uses a Boeing737-300 freighter – between Shanghai Pudong International Airport andOsaka airport in Japan.
A Xinhua News Agency report saidthe service is intended to speed uppostal package delivery times betweenthe two destinations as well as to reducetransit times further.
China Postal Airlines launched itsfirst international route in August,linking Beijing to Seoul. Last month,the carrier launched a daily charteredairfreight service from Tianjin to Seoulto meet demand primarily from SouthKorean electronic products manufacturerSamsung.
