Air Logistics America has welcomedthe third B747 freighter service thatIsrael-based operator C.A.L. CargoAir Lines last month launched to NewYork’s JFK airport.
Air Logistics said that the new servicewill add a much-needed Saturdaymorning departure that complimentsCAL’s existing Thursday and Sundayflights which service Liege, Belgiumand Tel Aviv.
Air Logistics America provides salesand service support both at JFK andtheir network of offices across the US.As synonymous as CAL is with top-shelffreighter service to the Israeli market, the stopover connections in Liege havemade substantial commercial gains, thanks to an intra-Europe tuckingprogramme.
CAL’s US manager, Ronen Regermenadmits this wasn’t always the case. "18months ago most shippers thoughtof us as strictly a Tel Aviv carrier andnow that’s changed 180 degrees. We’reseeing steady loads into Europe whichprovide us with a balanced revenuepicture from JFK."
