AMB Property Corporation, a globaldeveloper and owner of industrialreal estate, said it has leased 1,024,000square feet to DHL Exel Supply Chain,the logistics business unit of DHL’sgroup of companies.

The Deutsche Post unit has fullyleasedthe distribution space of threenewly redeveloped industrial buildingsat AMB Fengxian Logistics Center inShanghai. DHL Exel Supply Chainis using the multi-client logistics campusto deliver distribution services tomanufacturers of fast-moving consumergoods and retailers.

The distribution centre is in theFengxian district of Shanghai. Fengxianis well situated with easy connections tomajor highways providing rapid accessto key coastal markets in China.

AMB entered the China market in2005, and currently has 1.4 millionsquare feet in Shanghai. AMB’s Asiaportfolio is comprised of 8.5 millionsquare feet of distribution and logisticsfacilities in China, Japan and Singapore.The company is targeting SouthKorea for future expansion in Asia.
