Etihad Crystal Cargo, the cargodivision of Etihad Airways, has appointedM&C Cargonet Australia PtyLtd as General Sales and Service Agent(GSSA) for Australia.

Qantas Airways Limited has beenselected as ground handling agent.The appointments were ahead ofthe launch of Etihad’s non-stop flightsbetween Sydney and Abu Dhabi, whichstarted last month.

The service will operate initiallythree times a week with an A340-500aircraft offering cargo capacity of approximately12 tonnes at a full passengerload. Flight frequency will increaseon June 29 to a daily operation.
