RAK Airways based in the UAEemirate of Ras Al Khaimah, will startflying in May, said a top official. Theairline will begin operations with twoB757-200s, which have been leasedfrom Spanish carrier, Iberia.
According to Shaikh Salem BinSultan Al Qasimi, chairman of the RAKDepartment of Civil Aviation, KishuTeckchandani was officially namedCEO of RAK Airways, replacing JackRomero.
Shaikh Salem stressed that the keyreason for replacing the airline’s earlierCEO was the delay in the launchdate.
