TNT Express has strengthened itsteam in Southeast Asia with the appointmentof Karel van de Pijpekampas regional sales and marketing directorand Magali Rossi in a new role asdirector of strategy.
Prior to his current appointment,van de Pijpekamp was the director forglobal account development worldwide.He has also held various otherpositions in sales and has been withTNT for 11 years.
In his new role, van de Pijpekamphas been tasked to execute a sales andmarketing strategy. He will also look atexpanding the company’s portfolio ofmajor clients to include sectors.
In her new position, Rossi will beresponsible for setting the long-termstrategic agenda for Asia for the nextthree to five years. Her initial focusareas include building new growthplatforms through TNT’s network approachand to review overall strategiesand tactics.
She has held various positions inthe Netherlands, UK, France and Belgium.In her previous regional salesand marketing role, she also played akey part in implementing commercialpolicies.
In another appointment, TNT Expresshas appointed Martyn Wrightas its new managing director for theGulf, replacing Mark Pell who is nowdirector of operations and securityfor America, Middle East and Africa(AMEA) in New York.
Wright takes up the new positionafter three years as the company’s regionaldirector for operations in India,Middle East and Africa.
