The U.S. Department ofCommerce has announceda new initiative with UPSInc. to boost exports fromUS-based small- and medium-sizedenterprises.
The agreement is designedto provide firms withpublic- and private-sectorresources to make exportingeven simpler, accordingto DOC’s U.S. CommercialService.
The US Commercial Service’sexport services networkextends around the worldto more than 250 branchesin 78 countries. The Servicehelps companies enterinternational markets withservices including marketresearch, trade events andintroduction to qualifiedbuyers and distributors aswell as counselling and advocacy.
By linking with the U.S.Commercial Service, UPSsaid it can provide additionalresources to its small- and medium-sized exporting clients,beyond its broad portfolio ofshipping services.
