DHL parent, Deutsche Post World Net (DPWN) has appointed Jürgen Höfl ing as the new chairman of the divisional board mail international, effective April 1, 2007.

Höfl ing has served as member of the divisional board express Europe since 2000 and most recently, as member of the divisional board mail international, with responsibility for Europe. He will retain this latter, supplementary responsibility.

Höfl ing succeeds Klaus Knappik who has asked to be released from active accountability upon attainment of the age threshold of 60. In the years to come, he will serve the group as consultant for the international mail business and take on project work focused on the US, DPWN said.
