John Batten, currently managing director global network and air cargo sales for TNT, is to become the latest air cargo professional to try his hand at running Qatar Airways Cargo.

The airline has had a series of air cargo managers in recent years, some only staying a few months. Batten insists that things will be different this time, though he was remaining tight-lipped about why ahead of taking up his post on 1 April.
