Europe’s leading independent ground handler, Aviapartner, has announced the appointment of Andy Cruise to the position of group commercial director of its business line ground handling.

Cruise has been working in the aviation industry for 23 years and has held several commercial and operational functions at Swissport UK (and Groundstar Ltd, before it was taken over by Swissport), Reed Aviation Limited, Air Foyle Ltd, and TNT International Aviation.

In his new position, Andy Cruise will report directly to Nigel Daniel and will be based in the group’s head office in Brussels. His appointment is effective since 7 May 2007.
