GAC Samudera Logistics (GSL), a joint venture between the GAC Group and the Samudera Indonesia Group, has announced a 50 percent expansion of its state-of-the art common user distribution centre in Indonesia.

The GSL facility currently houses inventory of major corporations from diverse sectors such as consumer goods, healthcare and electronics. Strategically located in Lippo Cikarang in the Bekasi district, east of Jakarta, the extended facility will occupy a total of 9,000 square metres and offer an additional 12,000 pallet positions, increasing the current pallet capacity to 34,000.

The additional capacity will enable GAC to meet their existing customers’ demand for organic growth, and also to strengthen their position when entering into new management agreements with additional customers.
