Emirates SkyCargo has announced that it will lease three Boeing 747- 400ERF freighters with a delivery schedule starting from the end of last month. The first of the three aircraft is being wet-leased from TNT and was scheduled for delivery on May 27.

The airline will also dry lease two aircraft from Guggenheim Aviation Partners for a ten-year term. Both aircraft will be operated by TNT and will be delivered in July 2007 and February 2008.

The first of the two leased B747- 400ERF aircraft will serve Asia twiceweekly increasing to three operations a week later this year. Further frequencies will be introduced when the third aircraft is brought into operations next year.
