SriLankan Cargo strengthened its links with Australia, signing up a new partner to represent SriLankan Cargo throughout Australia.

GSA Cargo Services, specialising in cargo sales and marketing activities has been appointed the General Sales Agent for SriLankan Airlines in Australia.

“With daily services to Colombo, India, Maldives, Middle East and Europe – SriLankan Airlines has a lot to offer to the Australian exporters,” said Donna Mayne, director of GSA Cargo Services.

“Last year Australia exported almost 600 tonnes of airfreight to Sri Lanka, in excess of 1000 tonnes to the Maldives and almost 1,800 tonnes to India – no other carrier offers Australian exporters better service to these destinations than SriLankan Airlines” said Mayne.

SriLankan Airlines offers almost 100 services weekly to 10 ports throughout the Indian-subcontinent including Bangalore, Calcutta, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Karachi.
