US-based provider of software products and services for the US domestic forwarding community, Trans-Soft, Inc., has announced a strategic alliance with CargoWise edi, the Sydney, Australia-based provider of forwarding and brokerage software for the international marketplace. The alliance combines CargoWise edi’s expertise in the global freight forwarding market with Trans-Soft’s strengths in the US market to deliver I.T. solutions to businesses throughout the world.

Under the agreement, Trans-Soft will continue to service their existing customer’s requirements while working with the CargoWise edi sales and development team in the US and on a global basis to expand the ediEnterprise product with features required by the U.S. domestic forwarding market. Trans-Soft will also be offering expanded services at its managed data centre in Phoenix, AZ, which will become the preferred hosting hub for CargoWise edi clients.
