United Airlines Cargo has appointed GSSA company ACP Worldwide as its cargo general sales and service agent in Australia. United operates daily services ex-Melbourne via Sydney to Los Angeles and double daily ex-Sydney to San Francisco in the USA. The services use B747-400 equipment.

All United Customer Service staff in Australia have been offered and have accepted roles within ACP Worldwide and will therefore play a large part in the transition and success of the business.

Among the goods regularly exported from Australia are pharmaceuticals, auto parts and frozen fi sh. United also carries large quantities of live bees on a seasonal basis.
