SkyStar Cargo, the cargo arm of Thailand’s new start-up airline SkyStar Airways Co. Ltd has appointed Korea’s A-One Agency as their sole cargo sales agency for the handling of its cargo sales and operations.

While the carrier’s near-term fl eet plan includes four B767-200s by March 2008, the airline in June launched a four times a week service between Phuket and Incheon. This month Sky- Star plans to introduce fl ights between Bangkok and Incheon and by the end of the year, the airline will start service to Chongqing Jiangbei International (CKG) and Nanning in China.

Using Bangkok, Phuket and Incheon as the cargo hubs of SkyStar Cargo and with the interline service to major cities in the US and Southeast Asia, the carrier said it will provide an effi cient solution to all logistics partners in Thailand.
