Van Riemsdijk Rotterdam, who has recently gone through a name change to VRR has appointed Pieter van Calcar (47) as marketing & sales manager for the Asia Pacifi c Region.

In his new position van Calcar will be setting up a new company, VRR Asia Pte Ltd, in Singapore for VRR, which will be the basis for supporting the existing customer base in the Asia Pacifi c and further develop the business in special ULD’s in Asia.

He brings with him over 20 years of experience in business development in Asia and in aviation related industries. Previously van Calcar worked for the past 8 years as marketing & sales director Asia Pacifi c for Driessen Aircraft Interior Systems, a manufacturer of galley’s, galley equipment and standard cargo pallets/containers.
