FAPAA members attending the 2007 Annual General Meeting , which immediately followed the Executive Council Meeting in Hong Kong, elected a newcommittee for 2008.

Succeeding Peter McNamara as chairman for the next two-year tenure will be Krishnan Chelliah from the Federation of Malaysian Freight Forwarders.

As deputy chairman delegates elected Samson Pao (TAFA-R, Taiwan), while Walther Nahr, the current vice chairman of HAFFA, will take up the position of honorary secretary.

Willie van Heusden, the current chairman of CBAFF- New Zealand, will be the honorary treasurer and SLFFASri Lanka will join the committee as auditor. SLFFA said it will announce shortly which member will take up theposition of auditor.
