Japan Post Corporation, which will be privatised on Oct. 1, will introduce Toyota Motor Corp.’s business methods, the group announced recently.

The model will be implemented under the leadership of Norio Kitamura, a former Toyota Motor Italia president who will be the chairman and chief executive offi cer of Japan Post Service Co., one of four operating fi rms in charge of postal services.

Japan Post, which will be divided into a holding company and four operating fi rms including one for handling postal delivery, will increase value of small packages and international mail.
