State-owned postal company PT Pos Indonesia, or Posindo, has expanded online payment service by connecting 2,000 offi ces into the network by the end of this year.

Posindo’s Director of Finance Business Arif Supriyono said over 1,800 offi ces -from total 3,600 offi ces- have been online, with total spend of Rp13 million for software, hardware and staff. The service has been used by more than 30 partners including government institutions, banks, fi nance institutions, telephone operators, public water company and state own electric fi rm.

Supriyono said Posindo handles 1.8 million online transactions every month.
