DHL, the provider of express and logistics services announced recently the appointment of Lili Koh as head of global communications for Global Customer Solutions (GCS). Based in Singapore, she will be a key member of GCS’ global marketing services team reporting to Sven Hoemmken, head of GCS Global Marketing Services Brussels.
Koh will lead internal and external communication functions to DHL’s business objectives across all international markets and their top key account customers. She will also continue as head of communications for the GCS Asia Pacific region, a role she has held since 2005.
Developing, implementing and growing DHL’s customer engagement strategies with various Asia Pacific DHL business units, Koh has helped to establish the Strategic Customer Public Relations Program with DHL key customers including the 2007 launch of One Voice, a global customer communications tool.
Other key initiatives include promoting DHL’s market leader position in supply chain and logistics through a series of regional industry thought leadership platforms such as a Global Third Party Logistics Study, Customer Supply Chain Roundtables and Customer Conferences with industry leaders and experts.
GCS is the industry’s first customer management solutions unit that DHL launched in 2004 to manage its top global customers thus providing a single point of contact across DHL’s largest customers and markets.
