The company already supports the majority of airline operators in India with flight critical services and by establishing a local presence in India. Jeppesen will support India’s expanding aviation and other transportation markets, the company said.
The office will be led by Max Ali, Jeppesen’s general manager for the Hyderabad location from early 2009.
“Jeppesen sees tremendous opportunity for growth in the Indian transportation markets,” according to Thomas Wede, Jeppesen senior vice president and general manager, Commercial and Military Aviation. “Jeppesen’s plans to establish a physical presence in India is a direct result of our commitment to the region and our desire to become a local partner in India’s growth and economic development.”
