April air cargo volumes at Hong Kong International Airport fell 19.8 per cent year-on-year in April to 257,000 tonnes, according to Hong Kong’s Airport Authority. The authority’s CEO, Stanley Hui said that while the decline in cargo volumes had remained steady at around -20 per cent in each of the last three months, better than the 30 per cent plunge experienced in December and January, the ongoing downturn was still a concern.
