Mercury Air Cargo has launched MAC Cargo Handling – a joint venture with three veteran ground handling executives. The joint venture brings together Mercury’s 25 years of cargo handling experience and its position as the largest third party air cargo handler at Los Angeles International Airport, with the expertise of Anthony Bonino, Steve Ballard, and Philip Scherer. Mercury said MAC will focus on providing airlines with experienced manpower and operations to improve their bottom line and service levels and will also be on the lookout for “potential acquisitions and other strategic opportunitiesâ€Â.
