Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has announced it has been awarded a threeyear contract to provide cargo handling services for LTU International in Miami. The German airline operates five flights a week during the summer and four services a week in its winter schedule between Dusseldorf and Miami.

Its Airbus A330 aircraft carry over 4,500 tonnes a year on the route, including a high volume of perishables. WFS has been contracted by LTU to provide cargo warehousing, customer service and documentation, and customs clearance in Miami and trucking between the airport and Fort Meyers to connect with the airline’s additional service to Florida’s west coast.
