National Air Cargo has announced that it will extend its weekly DC 8 cargo aircraft from Sharjah, UAE, to Hahn, Germany before returning back to the US. The weekly flight will specialise in space available, preferred and priority cargo destined for Europe and the US, from the Middle East.

“Extending the flight to Hahn expands our commitment to supplying cargo needs to Europe and throughout the world,” Alex Munro, director Middle East Sales, National Air Cargo said. The expansion is a confident step for National Air Cargo defying the global market contraction of recent months.

“Our goal is to do everything we can to expediently and efficiently send and deliver materials and goods all over the world and this new flight will provide shippers of time sensitive cargo the fastest route possible from the Middle East to Europe,” Munro continued.

Cargo to be transported to Hahn includes garments, technology products, perishables and other time-sensitive air cargo. “National’s Middle East regional strength in the cargo market coupled with our global expertise is a perfect platform to consolidate our position and service the Middle East to Europe lane, Munro said. With the increase of products being exported from China and the Middle East to Europe, the need for air transport is becoming more important everyday and we know that National Air Cargo can fulfill this need in the quickest and safest means possible.”
