Aeroflot-Cargo has reported relatively stable July volumes, down 1.6 per cent from July 2008, at 12,992 tonnes of which 7,104 tonnes were uplifted on flights of Aerofl ot passenger network – down 5.7 per cent – while Aeroflot-Cargo’s three MD-11 freighters carried 5,888 tonnes exceeding July 2008’s volumes by four per cent. Earlier Aerofl ot-Cargo’s parent, Aeroflot-Russian Airlines, had said it was considering re-absorbing the cargo division, but no further announcement has been made.
