FedEx Express (FedEx) has appointed Ramesh Kumar Singam as Managing Director of FedEx Express Malaysia, eff ective 1 June 2009. Ramesh will oversee all aspects of FedEx operations in Malaysia and manage over 660 employees. He will also be responsible for developing and executing corporate strategies to ensure the company’s continued growth and success.

“With more than 15 years of experience at FedEx, Ramesh brings to his new position a strong customer service and operations background, and an extensive knowledge of Asia, which will be pivotal in further expanding our Malaysian operations,” said David Ross, regional vice president of FedEx South Pacific. Ramesh served as MD of FedEx Express Singapore and Indonesia since 2003 and prior to that, he was MD of FedEx Malaysia and Brunei.
