ST Aerospace announced recently it has signed another component support programme – this time with Icelandic operator, Primera Air. Worth US$32.5 million, the programme is for the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of its landing gears over five years and an eight-year comprehensive component Maintenance-By-the-Hour programme that includes parts exchange, MRO, component engineering services and logistics. Commencing immediately, these contracts are to support the airline’s current fleet of six Boeing 737 next generation aircraft and an additional six aircraft in the near future.
