China Eastern majority-owned China Cargo Airlines has filed a request with the Civil Aviation Administration of China to start a daily Shanghai-Anchorage-Los Angeles-Vancouver-Shanghai freighter service. If approved, the service will start in February 2010 and be operated by either an MD-11, B747 or B777 freighter.
