FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. has appointed Grace Choong as managing director of South Pacific Sales, FedEx Express. Based in Singapore, Choong leads the corporation’s sales management teams in achieving strategic objectives and is largely responsible for driving business opportunities and sales operations throughout the major markets in South Pacific region, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines as well as Australia and New Zealand. Choong brings to her appointment 11 years experience with FedEx throughout Asia including senior roles in the region.

Prior to returning to Singapore, she was the managing director for Mid- Pacific for a period of two years – from 2007 – where she played a key role in delivering strong financial results in the Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau markets. Choong replaces Matthew Davies, who has assumed the role of MD of South America Sales, based in Brazil.
