Singapore Airlines will launch twicedaily flights between Singapore and Tokyo Haneda airport in October next year, complementing the current twicedaily Tokyo Narita services, one of which continues on to Los Angeles. The carrier has been awarded the rights for 14 weekly flights to Tokyo Haneda by Singapore’s Air Traffic Rights Committee (ATRC).

New scheduled international services will be permitted to and from Haneda after a fourth runway opens for operations next year. While Narita offers good connectivity with other international flights Haneda has more domestic flight connections and is much nearer to Tokyo’s business districts. SIA said it will continue to fly to both airports.
