Cargo and passenger traffic by airlines in South Korea grew in November, bolstered by steadily rebounding economic conditions at home and abroad, according to a recent government report. According to the report by the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, the rebounding economic conditions led to a spike in air cargo traffic with total air cargo volumes amounting to 2.28 million tonnes last month, up 22.5 per cent from a year earlier mainly thanks to surging exports of flat panels and semiconductors, the report said. The number of travelers flying internationally totaled 2.7 million in November, up 7.4 per cent from the same month a year earlier.
