Swissport International has appointed Michel Glorieux as its new CEO of Swissport Geneva. Glorieux, who is 43, takes over from Ernst Hochuli, who will retire at the end of this year.
Michel Glorieux draws on an already long and successful aviation and Swissport career in his new function where he will be in overall charge of Swissport’s Geneva station. He joined Swissport Geneva (from Swissair Paris) back in 1995, and has since gone on to hold various demanding management positions within the Geneva organisation. Ernst Hochuli has been instrumental in the substantial success that Swissport Geneva has enjoyed in the 13 years he has been at its helm. He will now enter well-earned retirement at the end of this year. Swissport takes this opportunity to offer him its warmest thanks for all his work, service and dedication, and to wish Michel Glorieux every success and satisfaction in his challenging new capacity.
