Jörg Eberhart has been appointed as the new managing director of AeroLogic GmbH. He succeeds Dr. Thomas Papke, who is moving to a new post in charge of procurement at Lufthansa Passenger Airlines, effective 15 March. Dr. Papke has been managing director of AeroLogic with responsibility for the entire operations division since 2007. During his tenure, he played a key part in the establishment and successful start-up of the cargo carrier.

Jörg Eberhart is currently VP commercial, marketing & network at Air Dolomiti, Lufthansa’s regional airline in Italy. A business management graduate and licensed Airbus captain, he will be taking up his new post at AeroLogic at the earliest possible date. His responsibilities as AeroLogic’s managing director encompass Finance & Planning, Human Resources and IT. Jörg Eberhart will manage AeroLogic GmbH jointly with Ulf Weber, who was appointed managing director of AeroLogic GmbH in mid- 2009.
