Global air cargo sales and service provider, Air Logistics Group has announced with immediate effect, that Stephen Dawkins will become chief operating officer (COO) responsible for worldwide operations of the group.

“During 2009, one of the toughest years in aviation history, Steve has proven that he has the strength of character, enthusiasm and commitment required to continue to drive this business forward”, said Helmut Mair, head of Air Logistics Group.

“It is important that our company has a respected and experienced individual who understands the needs of our clients and our institutional shareholders”, said Mair. In line with the management restructuring Dawkins also confirmed the following key regional management positions with immediate effect to support his role: Juan Carlos Serna, regional director Americas; Jindrich Hudecek, regional director Eastern Europe and Turkey; Henrik Spove, regional director Scandinavia and Finland. Further key regional appointments in Asia and mainland Europe are to follow.
