CEVA Logistics has announced the appointment of Hakan Bicil as chief commercial officer, where he will be responsible for leading the company’s global sales organisation. He reports to CEVA chief executive officer, Xavier Urbain, and is a member of the company’s Executive Board.

Bicil joins CEVA from Panalpina where he was head of strategic business development. Prior to that role he was managing director, EMEA for Toll Global Forwarding. Before that role he held increasingly senior positions within the logistics industry, spending time in both contract logistics and freight management at Kuehne + Nagel.
