Jettainer takes over the supervision of containers for Equatorial Congo Airlines (ECAir) in February. The state-owned carrier, which is Jettainer’s first African customer, is located in Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of the Congo. ECAir is outsourcing its ULD management to Jettainer after expanding its fleet to include several widebody aircrafts of the type Boeing 767.
“We are certain that Jettainer will meet the challenge in our continued growth. ECAir will be operating a total of nine new destinations in Africa, a daily flight to Paris, Dubai and soon also to Beirut. All flights are operated from our hub in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo“, says Fatima Beyina-Moussa, CEO of ECAir.
“Airlines on the course of expansion are ideal partners for us. The organic growth with existing partners is one of the mainstays at Jettainer. This leads to strong, valuable and lasting partnerships,” says Carsten Hernig, CEO of Jettainer GmbH, and adds: “We wish to continue our worldwide growth in Africa.”
Martin Kraemer, head of marketing & PR at Jettainer GmbH, says: “The African market is of very great importance to us. We see a lot of potential for growth and aim to continue the market development at the Air Cargo Africa in Johannesburg.”
