Adriene B. Bailey has been promoted to chief strategy officer at Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. and will report directly to Kunihiko Miyoshi, president and CEO. She will be based at the company’s headquarters in Secaucus, NJ, and have responsibility for the overall strategy of the Americas Region, including M&A and business development initiatives. She will also serve as a member of the company’s board of directors.

Bailey joined Yusen Logistics in 2011 and most recently served as vice president, strategic business development. Her transportation and logistics industry experience spans more than 25 years with well-established organisations in the rail, intermodal and management consulting sectors. Bailey currently serves as the chair of the board of directors for Denver University’s Intermodal Transportation Institute (ITI), is a member of the board of directors for the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) where she was recently elected vice chair, and serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Economic Advisory Council.
