Allport Cargo Services (ACS) is set to expand its presence in Europe with the opening of its Air and Sea division in Belgium.

Victor Wever will head up the new Belgium office as managing director, following the establishment of ACS Netherlands in 2012, for which he was responsible.

Charles McGurin, chief executive officer, at Allport Cargo Services, comments: “We have had representatives in Belgium for many years but as our business model has matured, we felt it was the right time to formalise an official presence in the country.

“Located at the centre of important European trade routes, Belgium holds great appeal and promise as ACS enters an exciting phase of international expansion. It will enhance our service offering in the region and marks a significant investment in future of the global network.”
