India’s Blue Dart Express – a unit of Deutsche Post DHL Group – has become a majority shareholder in Blue Dart Aviation after purchasing additional 21 per cent stake taking its shareholding of the company in Blue Dart Aviation to 70 per cent. This now makes Blue Dart Aviation a subsidiary of Blue Dart Express – an integrated transportation and distribution company. Blue Dart Aviation was part of DHL Aviation from 2004 to 2015.

Blue Dart Aviation operates a fleet of five B757-200Fs on 21 night-time courier flights on 17 routes to seven destinations throughout India.
