Kerry Logistics has opened a new office in Portugal as part of on-going expansion plans across Europe. Mário Silva, GM Kerry Logistics (Portugal), will be heading up the branch, headquartered in Porto, Portugal’s second largest city and one of the main industrial hubs of southwest Europe.

“Our new office will enhance our existing freight network in Europe whilst giving our customers even greater access to markets across Africa and South America and in particular Brazil,” said Silva.

The new office is part of the logistics provider’s on-going strategy of building its presence and network across the European continent and will provide freight forwarding solutions through air, ocean and road freight, along with sea-air services, warehousing and distribution, insurance and risk management, and Customs brokerage. With the new branch Kerry Logistics now operates in 40 countries and territories worldwide.
