Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG (MFAG) will be managed by a three-man management team, consisting of the board spokesperson Johannes Jähn, board member Markus Kopp, and the general representative Dieter Köhler.

The MFAG supervisory board decided to expand the  management board at its meeting on 12 June 2015. It appointed Johannes Jähn, who is currently managing director of Obi Logistics GmbH, Emil Lux GmbH and Euromate GmbH, as a new board member at Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG.

The committee believes that the enhancement of the management board will offer an opportunity to strengthen the future strategic direction of the corporate group in the major areas of logistics and infrastructure and introduce an increase in efficiency. This will allow the previous sole board member, Markus Kopp, to particularly focus on the fields of marketing and sales. Filling another position on the management board with an external candidate will also guarantee that further expertise is introduced into strategic areas for the future.

In conjunction with the restructuring of the company’s management team, the authorised signatory Dieter Köhler has been appointed as the general representative of Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG. Mr Köhler’s major tasks will lie in the commercial field
