India’s Jet Airways has announced it now accepts e-bookings via the Bangkok-based Worldwide Information Network (WIN) e-platform. “As a high-tech carrier, we strongly encourage our agents to work with us electronically and are pleased to add WIN as a new channel for e-booking,” said James Gilliard, acting VP – Cargo, Jet Airways.
“Jet Airways has been connected with WIN since spring 2015 for e-Air Waybills (e-AWBs) and has seen steady growth in electronic transactions with SME forwarders on the platform.
“It’s now even easier to streamline shipments with Jet Airways, from the booking straight through to the AWB and tracking,” said John DeBenedette, MD, WIN. “We know that agents who book and submit AWBs electronically, work smarter, faster, and more accurately, and get complete shipment visibility automatically.”
