Cargolux Italia has introduced a second weekly flight between Milan and Cargolux’s Chinese hub Zhengzhou via Novosibirsk, in October. When Cargolux Italia introduced the first Zhengzhou flight in June, it also marked the first commercial Cargolux service to Russia.
Cargolux Italia’s two weekend flights offer shippers a fast and convenient possibility to move their weekday production overseas. From Zhengzhou, shippers take advantage of Cargolux’s extensive trucking system to forward goods to other major Chinese markets.
Cargolux Italia offers the only direct air cargo connection between Milan, a major industrial and commercial centre in Northern Italy and Zhengzhou, the fastest growing cargo airport worldwide and an important gateway to China. Commodities on this route include Italian fashion goods, machinery and mechanical spare parts.
“With our second service from Milan, Cargolux Italia and the Cargolux Group can significantly boost its presence in both markets,” says Pierandrea Galli CEO and accountable manager of Cargolux Italia. “It also underlines Cargolux Italia status as the main all-cargo carrier at Malpensa and main supporter of our Italian customers.”
Cargolux Italia is the main cargo carrier at Milan’s Malpensa airport with a market share of 15 per cent.
