Air Canada has announced plans to introduce a second direct service from Vancouver to the Indian capital Delhi using a B787-9 Dreamliner after successfully launching Toronto-Delhi just six months ago. The new three-times weekly service will begin on 20 October and marks the first time this route has been operated non-stop.
The Vancouver-Delhi route forms part of Air Canada’s ongoing international expansion strategy. Last year, the national carrier launched new services from Vancouver to Osaka, from Toronto to Delhi, Amsterdam and Dubai, and from Montreal to Venice and Mexico City.
And this summer it plans to start flying from Vancouver to Brisbane and Dublin, from Toronto to Prague, Budapest, Warsaw, Glasgow, London Gatwick and Seoul, and from Montreal to Casablanca and Lyon.
