The International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) has announced 38 new members in March. “This reconfirms the trend that has been witnessed in recent months where FIATA is joined by a considerable number of new individual members every week,” the Geneva-based organisation said.
The 38 new member are from 22 countries from all four FIATA regions, with the largest number joining from the UK. From the Asian region one new member joined from China, three from India and one from Pakistan.
FIATA represents an industry covering approximately 40,000 forwarding and logistics firms, employing around 10 million people in some 160 countries.
