TIACA’s 2017 Executive Summit (ES) will feature tracks with a Latin America and pharma focus, and will take place in partnership with the Supply Chain Americas.
Air cargo decision makers from across the globe will meet to network, grow business, and learn from the experts at the ES, from 18 to 20 October this year at the Turnberry Isle Resort in Miami, Florida, USA.
Supply Chain Americas, which is co-located, will be attended by shippers looking for new ways to run slicker supply chains.
“We are excited to be offering our members, as well as colleagues from across the industry the opportunity to gain in-depth insight into the issues that affect them,” said Vladimir Zubkov, secretary general, TIACA.
“By introducing new tracks, we are responding to the needs of our members to help them meet the challenges and opportunities in our industry during a time of great change.”
The ES program will feature discussions on supply chain innovation, as well as updates from North American and European regulators on the latest Pre-Loading Advance Cargo Information (PLACI) rules and dangerous goods regulations, and the TIACA Hall of Fame luncheon and celebration.
TIACA’s Shippers’ Advisory Council (SAC) will lead sessions exploring the different needs of the customer and exploring new ways to better collaborate.
TIACA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on the last day of the Summit.
As from this October, the ES will be a biennual event, with the Air Cargo Forum taking place in the year which it does not. TIACA’s AGM will take place during either the ES or the ACF.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available for the ES as well as the Hall of Fame luncheon, taking place on 18 October at the Turnberry Isle Resort.
The Turnberry Isle Resort Miami is spread over 300 acres and includes two 18-hole golf courses, and has been rated as one of the “World’s Best Resorts” by Travel + Leisure Magazine.
