ICHCA International, the global cargo handling NGO, will welcome the International Maritime Organization’s Joseph Westwood-Booth to give a keynote address at its 65th anniversary event. Hosted by the Port of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Spain, the Conference will look towards the future of cargo handling through 5 key sessions on how to make the global cargo chain safe, smart, sustainable, secure, and skilled.
Mr Westwood-Booth, Senior Deputy Director of the Sub-Division for Marine Technology and Cargoes in the Maritime Safety Division at the International Maritime Organization will speak on Connecting Ships, Ports and People – Next Generation Blue Economy on day 1 of the ICHCA International Conference 2017. He will also join ICHCA’s Container Supply Chain Safety Panel, present the TT Club Innovation in Safety Award in the evening of day 1.
ICHCA’s flagship event will bring together the big names in cargo handling to discuss the best ways to improve as an industry.
