B&H Worldwide announced that it has successfully progressed its existing ISO accreditation to the latest 2015 standard, and in doing so, has extended its quality management framework to support the business’ global sales focus. It has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 across all its international locations.
To gain the new accreditation, B&H went through a stringent process that included quality management system development and a strict documentation review to update its ISO 9001:2008.
The ISO standard is reviewed every 5 years and changed if necessary. B&H chose to gain the new, revised and more stringent standard because increased globalization has changed the way it does business and due to the increasing complex nature of aerospace supply chains.
B&H’s Group Compliance and Technical Assurance Manager, Melanie Hill says, “A uniformed service from all offices within our network and improved internal communication means we are quicker and more precise with our guidance and feedback and improved SOPs means service to our customers will be more efficient and effective”.
By choosing to obtain ISO 9001:2015 B&H now has the most up-to-date, rigorous accreditation available and has built a framework which both staff and customers can utilize while at the same time providing improved communication with a uniformed service from all its worldwide offices.
“The hard work doesn’t stop with the accreditation”, added Hill. “We are committed to developing our processes and procedures internally to ensure that we grow our business and build a framework for our staff and customers where we are at the forefront of risk based thinking in supply chain management”.
Stuart Allen, B&H CEO, continued: “This was a real team effort and moving forward we will continue to make changes within our business to meet the strict ISO standards that will benefit our internal network and customers to ensure our organisation continues to be streamlined, effective and efficient”.
